Do you think the new coach/manager should be English?

i mean you can’t have foreign players in the team can you?

Martin O’Neil is my guess,and choice.

Although the special one would be ideal if he was English.

Who cares.

Last time they could not even beat a bunch of east european shopkeepers.

They are all overpaid, overrated, wannabe avatars with aspirations of self importance. It is truly obscene that these people can command such a huge wage for doing so little, after all what do they do apart from run around a field chasing a ball, dogs will do that for free.

And what have they to do with model boats?? when was the last time Mr. Rooney went down to New Brighton to sail his boat.

Sorry but i thought this soapbox section was for other topics away from model boats.

If I wanted to talk about football I would have a lobotomy and join one of the hundreds of "footie" chat rooms or just go down to the pub with all the other experts.

Yes The Reverend is correct in stating that this is an open forum for general chit chat and the whole point of a forum is that everyones view is valid (but I still don’t like football)

An English coach/manager?! For England?! Are you mad?

I fully expect the powers that be to elect a Scandinavian rally driver to the job. If anyone knows how to handle dangerous situations with aplomb it’s those guys.

Lots of arm twirling, gesticulating and occassional crash and burns…not much different from now, really…

So there you have it. England to be coached/managed by Bengt Sumpgaard.

Gentlemen and my revrend friend. Football is a gentlemens game played by hooligans where as our national game RUGBY is a hooligans game played by gentlemen .Take the cardiff city v swansea game where the ref had a coin threw at him .This sort of behaviour would never happen at a rugby game or a cricket match .There we go that my tuppence worth chucked in .
