I had a very nice trip out today to the Ellesmere Port boat show, lots of sunshine and catching up with some old pals.

The event was very busy with lots of visitors.

With plenty of sailing in the lagoon (except when the excursion narrow boat was turning around. but even then the tugs got stuck in).

I am sure that the narrow boat skipper really appreciated the help but it all added to the fun.

I was really impressed by this naval TID, it looked to be about 4ft long

It looked really impressive out on the water.

Amid the tugs and fast boats was this superb sail boat.

Being expertly handled by a very calm owner who didn't seem to become perturbed by the fast boats whizzing past his bow.

One of these fast boats was this little fire float.

Doing some high speed runs and turns

It made a good show of itself despite being small.

This Sea Rover was extremely fast

Not forgetting the superb harbour set up that must have taken hours to put together on the water
