Just a reminder from Mike Law who is organising the judging of the Model Engineer Exhibition which runs from 13^th – 15^th December at Sandown Park Racecourse, Esher, Surrey. Despite its title, the show has a strong model boating component and 2013 will see five prominent model boating clubs in attendance. Other nautical interest includes the Medway Queen Preservation Society and the Steamboat Association who will be bringing along a new 26 foot launch recently completed by one of their members. Then there will be the usual highly regarded marine entry competition with some of the best examples of the model boat builder’s craft.

Entries include Robert Mullan's HMS Agamemnon 1781, built from a 1:64 Caldercraft Kit

and Major Patrick Puttock's HMS Isis, a 50 gun Warship Of the Nelson Era.
