Over the same weekend as Warwick is the Telford IPMS International which has a large marine impute most of which is in the  smaller scales. This is the largest model show in the UK and has vendors and exhibits from around the globe. Not much in the way of R/C but a fascinating show none the less and you really do need the two days just to get around .The RN will be submitting some full size exhibits one of which will be landing on site on Friday a Lynx HMA-8 . Usually companies such as Revel , Iitalieri ,Airfix and Trumpeter will be showing off their new products for 2013, like the 1:200 scale Bismarck by Trumpeter .

Hi Colin Just to give a flavour of what Telford is about .

On the vendor side there is for example this manufacturer from South Korea.

Or this manufacturer from Austria specialising in torpedo boats and submarines large and small scale.

This is around 500 vendors , probably more but no R/C.

Hi Colin sadly it does . Quite a number of large scale R/C models go to Telford , some switch shows each year others do a day at one and a day at the other.I did this last year but that's hard going .
