Despite the ever changing weather over the 2 days the event was a great success.

I went with my wife on the Saturday and we were made most welcome by Arthur and Jean Barlow. Lot’s of fine models on display, a range of traders  and good catering. All the clubs had made a great effort, but some had clearly gone to a lot of trouble with their displays and my wife remarked how those with stripey table clothes, lights and thoughtful theming looked particularly nautical.  Also, by not over-crowding a club display, actually made those displays much more appealing to the casual non-model boater, which is her!
So, yes very well done to the Convention Committee for all the positive efforts they have made and continue to make for this annual event.
