                Hi Peter
I have asked the question , apparently they are a group of modellers with a display of marine associated displays.
Sorry not much more to go on at the moment..

Well home from the 2nd day at the very successful Model boat convention at the Birchwood Centre

Met up with a lot of friends and hopefuly have made a few more..The rain held off for both days until 30 minutes to the end on the Final day.  Some superb displays by ALL the clubs ,likewise spent to much with the traders.
Paul Freshney was spotted at the show but unfortunately I missed him.

I have hopefully uploaded some photos here and if I can work out how to get more than 5 into an album will upload more , However I will be posting all the ones & the 500 + that one of our members took on a Photo site and will post the link when available. In the mean time there have been more pictures posted on Mayhem.

Seen at the show………..Alan Hamer`s masterpiece……Immaculate….3 1/2 years up to now.  Complication is no problem!

It has about 10 servo`s and not one is visible, even the throw of the feathering mech is remotely adjustable

Amos comes from The Bury Metro Club

This tank is about 72″ long and weighed 250 lbs…….the bulldozer feature was controllable as well as the normal features……a really nice feature was the realistic smoke emmitted from the exhausts.
It charged up and down the steep incline quite easily, complete with snarling engine sounds!
