Hi Guys,
Just to let everyone know that I will be at Gawthorpe Hall summer fayre this coming Saturday 12th July, with my collection of ocean liner memoribilia, and will of course be banging the Nomadic Preservation Society drum. Some of you may know that this is the group of volunteers that is restoring the last White Star Line vessel in existence, the SS Nomadic, formerly the tender at Cherbourg that ferried out passengers to the big liners – including Titanic.
I have lot’s of membership forms, so will hopefully scare up a few new names.(Just been talking to the organiser and might even get interviewed for Radio Lancashire and the local Burnley station, 2BR).
If anyone is in the Lancashire area this weekend, head on over to Burnley and see us there – the hall alone is well worth the visit – check it out here:-
