Hi Mike, It might be a good idea to get hold of an air compressor as i doubt if Canned compressed air will provide enough to run your new engine in. Mine don't

Hi Mike, When running on compressed air, you need to be careful about lubrication. An inline oil lubricator should be included, to stop any scoring

              Cheers Tom

Hi Mike, Toms suggestion of an inline lubricator is correct in that you need constant lubrication to your engine, however I should point out that the lubricator will not work with compressed air, as in its operation it requires condensed steam to push the oil into the steam supplying the engine. Steam oil should be used in the lubricator. Might I suggest when running on air, frequently stopping the engine and squirting oil into to the air supplying the engine.

Hi Andy, On steam I am more inclined to a mechanical lubricator that a 'spit & suck' displacement type.

However on compressed air using air drills screwdrivers etc. there is always an in line oiler, a glass jar (like a fuel filter) that is filled with suitable oil the amount of oil 'leaked' into the airline is controlled by a knob on top of unit.

                  Found one

                  Cheers Tom
