Does anyone know of a UK supplier for "screw in planking clamps"? The November 2013 edition of MB shows them in use, within the article by Phil Parker on page 46.

Hi David,

I don't know who makes these 'clamps'. Though they look more like thick handled screws? You might get the same effect by using small dome head screws,(and washers?) screwed in.

Not a UK dealer, nor quite identical but similar to those in the article — and made out of metal rather than plastic: **LINK**.

These look like you could build them yourself, the easiest version being a simple alu strip with a partial doubler and a hole, and an ordinary wood screw.

They look pretty handy, too.
