i am thinking of building the old pirate radio ship mv galaxy (radio london) using a dumas uss whitehall 1/96 scale as a starting point and i was wondering where to get plans / pictures of all the changes i would have to do? thanks

The Radio London site has links to three models, which may be of help with your project :-

One of this links has a further link which shows a side plan of the ship when she was built as a minesweeper for the US Navy :-

Built as the USS Density in 1945, she was also a Greek cargo vessel the Manoula from 1955. Finally as the pirate radio station Radio London :-

As for building a model, some ideas can be obtained from reading Barrie Freeman's Radio Caroline ship Ross Revenge, which is an item on this site :-
