      As a native of Barry, in South Wales, I had to make a model of a Bristol Channel pilot cutter, the finest small sailing boats ever made.

      This 1:48 static model is mostly balsa wood. It's a bit basic, but as far as I can judge the static and running rigging is complete as per the original.

      I gave it to my Dad to go with the little tiny Clyde Puffer I made when about 11 years old, many years ago!
