hi these a the first of many l hope! of my model lm building the formers are 4mm ply spaced at 60mm the keel to be added later on lm using foam between them and then skin with grp tissue then build up the shap from there cheers mark

Hi Mark,

looks a good start, is the frame work to make plug for f/glass.,

and whose plan is it , do have picture of build.?.

Hi Larry l don’t have any plans as such what l do have though are a set of scale drawing only showing the hull profile side and top view l have first hand experience with this yacht so the rest will be easy
Lmao making this hull mold and poss the rest
as l can then make more l will have more pics to follow soon so any comments would be great ………… Mark

hi Larry ha ha lve not finished the hull yet and not even thought about the rigging ,mast or sails yet l have an old (2002) model boat catalogue where would l find these

Hi Amy Jane thanks .

The full size is a really nice yacht to sail ,mine is 5' long with a beam at stn8 of over 1'

As l have not weight restrictions I'm not using epoxy but instead a vinylester resin and 225g chopstrand mat with 200g woven on top ,I've no deck yet !! .what do you have got any pics ??

That's a good sized model, just right for fine sailing!

This is my one and only yacht, (I have a few power models)

A little smaller than your's at 50"x12". My own design and build, based on a Tancook Whaler fishing boat from Nova Scotia. A happy little sailer.

Hi all as you can see from my last post (date) I don't often join in ,but I'm here building slowly ! I've got no new pictures uploaded yet ,but the deck beams and cuddy are all finished . before I go to far this build was supposed to be a static model then I thought with my RC experience I would install the servos and winch's but ! planes and boats are so far apart and now I would like you guys help please

How would I go about installing the gear as this is a scale yacht I am aiming to be as close as I can so I would want a forsail without a boom ,any more details just ask pics to follow soon

Good to see you back.

I'd be happy to help out, but be warned I only do cheap simple and effective! If you require something more complicated you'd better wait for an expert…..

Hi all does anyone have any pics of fitting out the hull with servos for the sails ,is there a common way to this ,any help would be great as I'm nealy redy for the deck to be started .. thanks …….mark
