        Would anybody know where I could get any technical info on ships built by the Dutch company Van der Giessen. Im trying to get specs on the MV Prosperity.She was built in 1944 and was originally christened Stentor. My main problem is getting information on the hull curves.

          Hi Matt

          A quick trip through the interweb shows that Van der Giessen was owned by IHC Caland but the yard went into liquidation in 2003 however IHC Caland (now SBM Offshore) is still trading so there is a very good chance that the drawings still exist.

          I would suggest the first step would be an email to SBM Offshore with a request to access their archive.

          Try the contact section of their website http://www.sbmoffshore.com for more information regarding the correct email address
