Has anyone any suggestions how I access the archives of Saunders Roe? I have in mind the building of a motor yacht built around 1937, that I found details of in an old Uffa Fox book, but am having great difficulty tracking down current whereabouts of the boating archive.

Try this link for some good information:http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=202658 Also try Saunders Rowe and find a couple of books on amazon.co.uk. The archives may have been destroyed in the war. Lastly a google search reveals some photos of a raised deck cruiser on the UK houseboats site.

thank you for the input. Re. the Wikipedia reference, it quotes an address in Whip Street, Ipswich; as I live in Ipswich, and the only thing I know of Whip Street is the car scrapyard I’ll have to have a alk down there.
