      Hi all
      I am a subscriber in New Zealand to the magazine and enjoy reading it.
      I am wrighting to ask about one of the photoes in you march 07 edition.
      The photo is on page 63 top right hand corner of the Hull stand at a show.
      The vessel in the photo with the number h238 hull of the factory trawler is there plans to the vessel that you can buy?
      I used to work on a vessel identical to that in New Zealand called the Giljanes she used to be a north sea trawler under the name Jutland the vessel was 87metres and had 6000hp we used to do 6-8 week trips catch orange roughy/squid/dory and hoki around the New Zealand coast if any one could help me it would be great.

          Hi Jason,

                       I think the ship you are interested is called the Arab, a freezer trawler that used to be based in Hull. I believe she fished out of Australia for a while. Two ships that also went to New Zealand was the Artic Galliard and the Artic Buccaneer. I was in the Galliard when she went to New Zealand but I declined the offer to go with her.
