I stocked up on balsa wood some time ago from a company called ‘The Balsa Cabin’.
I found them on the internet but I think they are based over in Essex.

You do not say what size you need or how much.
You could try the Balsa Cabin, as I said in my reply to Poppa. Alternatively I would suggest you try Hobbies. You can get their catalogue from W H Smith to see what they have available. The choice is a bit limited but at least you can buy by mail order from them.

Click on SLEC in the column to the right of this thread. We really should support those who support this forum by buying advertising space. I've been obtaining all my timber from them for over 45 years. They're based in Watton in Norfolk but their mail order is first-class. You even get to specify the grade of balsa you require (Hard, Medium or Soft).
