            Rod,

send a picture to either Frank Parsons at Nylet or to Graham Bantock at Sailsetc, they'll let you know the design and designer I'm sure. They'll also be able to advise completion material and items.

I've seen this hull profile before but the name escapes me.

Not sure about it being an actual IOM – I recall the class rules not approving hollow lines and the need for a rubber bumper on the bow. Could it be a M built shorter? Or, I recall seeing a small free sailing plan in the early '90s having a bow with similar features. The design could have been stretched.

Intresting I did notice that the stern area looked different but I don't now about the rules Malcolm .Thanks for that it has carbon fibre rudder and keel someone spent a lot on it. Rod

I'm no expert on yachts I'm afraid. I suggest you take Kim's advice and approach the experts.

It might be a good idea to post the question on a site with a dedicated sailboat section, More widespread exposure might lead to somebody with the answer. Moidelboatmayhem and RCgroups both have plenty of footfall.
