      can anyone tell me what sort of battrey charger i need to get for my 12v battreys on my model boat . name and make of charger so i can buy one thanks

          Geoffrey,

          What battery have you got? It sounds like a 12v lead acid gel cell but it could be somerthing else. To give you advice we nee to know the type of battery and it's capacity. The information should be printed on the battery somewhere.

            Do not be tempted to use a car type charger – it will kill any battery intended for use in models.
