      Hi my name is Chris

      Im new to the forum but have had rc boats for a while now. I have amassed quite a large collection of boats some of which i will be looking to sell and trade on here. I also collect Tamiya RC cars so would happily trade any of my boats for Tamiya. I was wondering what the rules are regarding trading on the site as i dont want to break any rules. Finding the site very useful a mine of information.

          as Colin will probably say shortly, we are predominantly a forum for exchanging ideas and information on our own experiences of model boat and ship building, and not a trading center, which is admirably covered on ebay.

          please join in with the discussions on modelling and then perhaps you might find a niche for those models you wish to trade later with members on here with interests similar to your own.

            Yes, as Neil says, this is emphatically not a trading site and joining for trading purposes only is discouraged with some exceptions such as bereavement situations.

            If you wish to participate in the discussions then you will be very welcome and in those circumstances selling the odd model or two will be fine.

              ok thanks for the heads up i will probably use ebay as a resource to sell the boats i have and just use the site for information

                i would be very interested to know whats on offer if you fancy letting me know by pm.

                i would then have to discuss how to do or get whatever we need to get in the water on the forumyes.
