      For sale. Amati J class yacht kit. Disposing on behalf of a friend whose husband passed away. Hull started, mounted on a 20mm mdf building board. 1/35 scale…a decent size. The contents appear to be all there..Hull planking, sails, brass fittings and instructions. Collection only I am afraid because of the hull. £50. Ashley

          I’m not into yachts and am a long way away but I can’t believe you’ve not had your hand bitten off.  The J class were elegant boats.

              A pity it couldn’t all be boxed up and parceled to a buyer, the buyer paying the cost of postage of course. It might sell quicker that way. Not having a car now, I wouldn’t be able to do the traveling, but someone will end up with a very nice model.

                Well I hope it goes as its getting in the way. Well over £200 from what I have seen. I would be prepared to hang on to it if anyone was serious but couldn’t get here straight away, no problem.

                It is a stonking model, loads of stuff in the kit.
