Hello everyone can anyone advice me on where to buy a main winch with two gypies and the anchor windlass I have trawled the web pardon the pun but could not find anything yet has anyone got any ideas tried Hull model boat club but no one seems to talk. Please Help kind regards John

hi john………the windlass and winch were probably an A & E windlass and a CD Holmes or Robertson's winch…………as they were all sourced by Cook Welton and Gemmell or Cochranes from these two companies……………and if you contact Mountfleet models the winch and windlass that they put onto the St Nectan trawler is period for that type of ship, with a little modification to the cylinder boxes and the D valve linkages……………think he will sell separate kits for them………ask for Adam.
