      hi again

This will be my second post as i need a little help so

I am after a rc boat and found two on the world famous auction site, however

the first rc boat i found has everything ie TX RECIEVER BATTERIES ETC,just needs to go in the water.

the second one has everything eccept the TX so my question would be

would it be simple matter of buying a transmitter and off i go, or would i have to buy a TX and a reciever with the view of replacing the reciever on the boat with the new one.I would be buying a 2.4 ghz either 2, 4, 6 channel so would everything else be ok

any help would be very much appreciated.

I went to a local club yesterday and am itching to get sailing

      thank you regards tony

It helps if you could tell us exactly what type of receiver is fitted e.g. Futaba R2006GS, Planet R6M.

A complete boat being sold minus a transmitter? If its not trade, with full details, one has to hope it wasn't one found abandoned in the back of a car. Just a cynical alarm bell.

Good point, Doc. If the seller can't tell you what type of transmitter goes with it then I'd suggest avoiding the whole deal.

                  Hi Tony,

As to good points have been made about , buying on flea bay,

if are in contact with a club, in your area , not known what area y0u are sailing,

or what type of boat you are going for,you are going up a creek with out a paddle,

dont rush your fences cheers Larrry…..
