      hi my names mark lm new to this forum as l am normally on the model flying site but l have a full set of scale planes for a sailing yacht l am planning to make so any boat modelling tips would be good ……..

          I am trying to build boats so I got a simple sailing boat "The Jenny"sheet balsa hope you get lots of advice as I will be looking.

              sorry lve got the scale wrong its 1/5 just looked at my plans thats not a good start !! wheres me glasses gone

                Ha mark I am going small and its only 600mm long and high.no point in building to big.I have to prove I can start small and work my way up.

                I am working my self up to building a tiger moth when I my found my hands shack a bit to much.so I will make a go of this boat then see where it takes me.

                Good luck with the yacht will you get it in the car?

                  hi rod l love the moth but ive to many planes already my yacht might fit inside my car if not my works van will do but as it would stay at work once finished its not to much of a prob another thing l will have to look into are waterproof servos for rudder , main and furling gear do you know of any ? mark

                        Mark,

                        You need to create an album or reference an external URL. See the FAQ section at the foot of the page on the left hand side. If you create an album then you can move photos into your posts by using the camera icon on the editing toolbar when making a post.

                          Hello Mark,,,

                          Colin as given you alead,

                          i notice you have a gallry started , so easy just click on said gallery ,

                          you now have a choice , clicl on add more photos up pops a line of browsers ,click on one this should bring up your photo files choose one then click on open this puts it into your gallery

                          click on upload n

                          wait a bit , there it is in your gallery, there info boxes to give detais of your master pieces ,

                          add what you want , click on save changes ,

                          now to add this to a posting click on the camera ikon then choose a picture from your gallery .

                          ckick ok and up pops your picture in the posting ,…..

                          to add another click on enter a couple of times , this gives you a spacing between pictures

                          then repeat as before …………Note your pictures must be JPEGS hope this helps

                          have a pratice make a new gallery of nice picturers cheers Larry……..
