I gather from a very reliable source that the Planet T7 radios are no longer being made, although the receivers will still be available. My advice to anyone who's looking for one is to buy it as soon as they can wherever they find it. The T5 may go the same way.

It would be ideal for subs – if it wasn't 2.4Ghz…face 8

Yesterday, I receieved the March and April 1972 issues of MB that I'd recently ordered from the Magazine Exchange, and on the back of one of them there was an ad for the O.S. Cougar four channel set (complete with t/x, r/x and four servos), priced at — you guessed it! — £95!

Now, according to the Bank of England inflation calculator, £95 in 1972 would be equal to £1,119.60 (!!!) in 2014 money … whew! Prices have come down a bit, haven't they?!
