They would have been a skilfull build 20 years ago Bob, but most definitely a greater difference now. As you say , surely people can see that, just from the pictures.

Why would they have been skilfull 20 years ago?   I use the same tools – But a lot of folk even now, claim there is no difference in quality.   I sold the Bidston Hill in 1972 for £16 and considered myself well paid.   It showed up on Ebay several years ago, and went to the US for £400.   I sent the buyer a picture of Donna Francisca, and  he said there was no difference in quality as far as he could see – no improvement at all!
