My mate drop this unfinished 40 year old project for me to see what brushless motor, drive line etc. to install.

Frames B2 and B3 are not original but he has the original ones at home.

Rescanned the original plans which are in very good condition.

Added a bit more depth in the rudder and reshaped to top.

If you like that one I received by Sea Hornet rudder today.

One of our modellers is a craftsman and the go to bloke.

Also the keeper of boat plans.

                        Hi Harry

Very nice.. I think the stern on this type is the most elegant ever designed.

                        Thanks for the photos

                              Hi Guys

A phone call tonight from the owner of the Swordsman.

Maiden voyage at Christmas time in 150mm choppy water.

Handle it lovely with no water leaking into the boat.

                              Good turn of speed.

Only 48 years in the making !!!

                              Planning a prop upgrade from 3 blade 32mm to 2 blade 40mm or 42mm.

                              Harry
