Hi Robert. If you haven’t already got them, I suggest you try to obtain Marine Modelling Magazines Feb/Mar 1988 or June 2001. Excellent conversion articles.

          Hi James,

no I don’t have those issues, but I believe the author is posting them to me, as they are not archived on modelboat webpage. If you have them though, would it be possible for photocopies of the articles.

          Kind regards

          Robert

oh you lucky sod, i love scotland, but my missus hates it as her ex was from glasgow, I’m a canadian but live in devon, my favourite parts of scotland were the highlands, gorgeous. they remind me of bc back in canada, only smaller. anyway will email them tonite mate, still plodding along with lifeboat and bismarck, so snowberry will probably start in the new year.

Im from Quebec, north of  MONT- tREMBLANT, ex airborn   i was to scare of the quality of the ship of the RCN, and subject to sea sickness.

Starting to scratch build a corvet whit some friends, we are looking at plans and intend to start this winter

I know what you mean by the quality of the ships, they were pretty scary back 25 years ago, but ok now, airborne, jump out of a perfectly good plane. Were you in Petewawa?

Never been to Mont Tremblant, originally from Southern Ontario, but have been in England 3 years now.

Am considering a scratch build of a river class dde I served on after I get 2 other builds out of the way. The book, Anatomy of a Ship, the Agissez is suppose to be great for reference.

25 years ago our planes were as bad as your boats , old tired and over used, i know was in from78 until 83, yes did some time at BFC WAWA but got move often for training with foreing troups ( mostly German, and American ) they needed some one who was smart enought not to *** of our freinds.

Where gonna built a Corvet class escort , whe think it`s the ship thats the most representative of the RCN for that era and as usual we made a succes of a brit reject. Yes I know it`s not becose they sold us *** sub that we should old a grudge, the gentleman in charge of bying equipment is not the one who`s gona be using it.

So we are looking and collecting as mutch data on that class of ship, and we will begin contruction this winter .

Let’s keep in touch, it would be nice to take the missus to La belle provence next time were back in Canada. We could take her snowshoeing and then see if she still likes the snow.
