Hi all, new here.

I thought you'd be interested to know that there are a couple of guys up North who are making clever encders to completely emulate old radio gear actions. But they use cheap as chips modern 2.4 gig components to do it. I'm currntly replacing the insides of an old REP single channel outfit for my 50 year old Aerokits Crash tender with it.

Mainly for aircraft, but perfectly doable for boats, indeed the guy is having a Sea Commander off me as part of a deal, as I don't understand lecktrickery.

PLEASE don't just throw out your old stuff. Indeed, they run a museum for it all, so they might be interested in what you have if you really don't want it. They even get the old RCM&E type stuff going again. They are seriously clever geezers!
