i want to build a bait boat for fishing and would like some advice on building it i have motors and servos i am quite handy at building so i am confident in building my project all help would be very appreciated thanks daz

Dear Sir,

Could you please help me, i am new to boat building and have a billings boat 586 with twin rudders. I am unsure about how to attach the rudders to the single servo or if i have all the right pieces to do it.

Any info would be most appreciated.

Yep that’s the way to do it. If you don’t like bending metal, many people use the pins from a 13 amp plug. It’s best to file down the ends somewhat before drilling a hole for the servo conection. They make great tiller arms for any setup.

If middle position doesn’t suit move arm through 180 deg it will work just as well on either side. Servo does not have to be close to rudder use a flexible connector (it is called a snake I believe)
You should try to dictate where things go if possible not the model,make future maintenance EASY!
