Odyssey refurb

A couple of years ago I got this Odyssey from Freegle and finally got around to refurbishing it.

It had a bit of damage to the bow, a broken rudder and the sails were falling to bits!

I'd repaired and painted the hull, made a new (slightly bigger) rudder so yesterday I decided to have a go at making some sails.

First time for sail making and the first time I've used the sewing machine!

That's a good looking yacht , I hope it goes well, I like the winged keel

Keep us posted on how she goes, we are supposed to be racing DF65's on Sunday if the ice on the lake thaw's in time !!

Nice finish on the hull. Unusual to see a dark colour on a yacht hull but it looks really smart.
