Pity you didn't see the post asking this on Mahem Harry, would have saved some time!

But Googling it didn't help much but it did point to a post on this site. I did wonder if our departed friend would have been able to help and he thinks it's a Modav Sea Vixen. Googling hasn't found any more info. yet .

Thankyou fellas. So Modav? Another extinct kit manufacturer? I understand they become Precedent? then Balsa craft? Any of that correct.

Yeah, all of that and then finally Anglian Models who ceased trading. There is also an historic connection with SLEC (via Balsacraft) as well hence the big 47" Huntsman 31.

That looks like our old mate sadly missed Dave M's design note the curved Fairey transom.

If you look at the link I posted, What Is This Boat, Dave says Modav stopped production of the Sea Vixen before the Huntsman 31 kits came out which were his first design. The Sea Vixen does have some looks of a Fairey about it though.

Amazing how this one has stayed under the radar as it's a nice little boat.
