Model Boat Clubs around Sleaford Lincs.

Hi, does anyone know of any clubs around the Sleaford area, alternatively any sailing waters therabouts?

Tattershal Leisure Park sail to your hearts content for a nominal fee of £2 for all day any day of the week.

Also Grantham has a model boat club which sails on the old open air swimming pool

Nottingham Model Boat Club sails at Highfields on Sunday am 9 till 12 and at Colwick Park near Nottm Racecourse on Thursday pm

Grantham model boat club meet on sundays about 12pm onwards at wyndam park just off the sleford rroad coming out of grantham

I belong to the Lincoln model yacht club who sail on a big lake behind the fox and hound pub on the newark road about half way between the Pennals garden centre (on the roundabout) and the traffic lights, we sail rclasers on sAT pm AND ONE METRE on sundays

Hi,dont know if its any use but there is a model boat club in Boston,.

Have no more details perhaps local tourist info can help.

They used to sail near the centre of Boston near Fishtoft church.

I was a member of the Boston club, sad to say its not what it once was, the pond is used by the local yobs as a dumping ground for stolen bikes etc, I have even had and seen stones thrown at yhe boats on the water, you could ring David chatters  at sutton-st-james ( my mate) on  01784 450527, he joined the club after me, and is still a member, he can tell you what the state of the pond is now.  if the worst comes to the worst, and push comes to shove you would always find a welcome at the Hykeham sailing clubs lake, and the lincoln model yacht club
