      Hello Everyone
My R/C is 3 channel. At the moment I am only using 2 and want to use the 3rd as a switch to
turn a sound board on and off. Do I have to somehow make the servo arm operate a mechanical switch or is a switch available that works directly from the receiver. If there is could you point me in the right direction.
      Many Thanks
      Geoff

        hi geoff

theres 2 ways you can go about doing this

first is to do the way you suggested (uses the servo arm to switch a switch) the best switch to uses is a micro switch which can be brought from many hobbie shops

the second way is to get a switch whcih fits directly onto the servo (also as you suggested) but these can cost more money but could be more reliable

        hope this helps

          Hi Geoff,

Most comercial sound systems plug in to the Rx,If you are making one from Maplins etc then do as Jake says.
