Would anyone possibly have a set of plans for a 1:15 scale waveney class lifeboat?

Hi Paul,

I think there are some 'lifeboat' specialists on the forum who may be able to help you (I'm not one of them !).

A lot of good boat plans can be got from Sarik Hobbies – it might be worth checking on their website and doing a search….

ps you can always re-scale a plan, commercially, or, otherwise if an available plan is to a different scale

You could try contacting the RNLI who may have drawings in their archives which you could purchase or provide a donation. I have seen a clip of a gentleman living (I think) in North America who built an Atlantic Class boat from a set of drawings supplied by RNLI for which he made a donation.

Paul , A horizontal thought ; for relatively not much more than the cost of a set of plans , why not buy the 1:40 Billings Waveney kit from someone like Cornwall Model Boats ? That way you would have a simple model to build and sales well as one you could easily scale off . Trevor.
