Why Len you have lost weight and the crop top suits you.

Will you be launching this in the traditional manner or just chucking it in the lake.

I hate to say anything , but are they fitting the wheel to the correct side of the boat?? They appear to be ignoring H&S regulations by not wearing hard hats and using heavy lifting equipment, or protective clothing come to that, also……..

I see what you mean, ashley, looking at the pointy bit at the front. perhaps the builders are trying to confuse us, and it’s not a paddler at all, but some kind of new sailing ship and that’s the wind catchy thing on the top that makes it go.

must learn some better nautical terms, for next time i post!  neil.

                        Hi Paul,

I am,I am working every day over the Bank Holiday!.

I took my disabled guy out for a drive today and got stuck in traffic for 1hour with cars and lorries heading for the port of Dover.

Anyway I am trying to see how many people look at the "Cost nothing boats" thread, last time I looked around 1500 interested bods had tuned in.

You seem back on form? have you got over whatever it was?.

                        Enjoy your Easter.

                        Regards,

                        Len.

                          Hi Len

What a shame to get stuck in traffic did this give your friend any problems or did he still enjoy the trip out?

The "Cost nothing boats" thread is very popular but I think that people log on just to see what daft ideas are being discussed.

As for my health I am sorry to say that it continues to get worse, I have been put onto new medication that has a kick like a sledgehammer so for most of the time I am more than a little fuzzy, but as you know there are good days and bad days..so I have booked my good day for easter sunday.

How come you are working over another bank holiday?

                          Paul

                            Hi Paul,

With a possible staff total of 7.5 we are 1 on long time sick,1 has just left,1 is about to leave,so we are all trying to cover vacancies.

Daft idea No ? =  I am fitting outriggers!.

My man enjoys being out and about, he likes watching activities,JCBs, Building sites,I have joined him in my Model boat club.

                              Hi Len

Out riggers will give better stability but also give greater drag I would suggest cigar tubes (or similar) as the best option.

Your friend would have liked my past life, I was a project manager on some quite large construction sites.

I had a look at mba-dover and seen some very nice boats including Alans loyal moderator which I think is one of the best models that I have seen.

Bit of a shame that a photo of an odd looking airboat/game hunter combination has crept onto the site… is this some kind of nepotism?

Its just started snowing up here.

                              Paul
