Someone from the Vintage Model Yacht Group found out about these chaps a couple of years ago. There are some even better videos of them sailing parallel to the beach in a strong on shore breeze and they really zoom along. I will try and find the links and add them to the thread.

Gareth. Unfortunately a home there probably comes with typhoons, flooding, ocean level rise and all sorts. Best where we are I think.

Ashley, weather doesn't seem that bad in Kuala Lumpur, temperature is usually 29 – 32 degrees, just the amount of rain which varies.

We had a stopover in Singapore a few years back and found the humidity and heat totally enervating but presumably you get used to it.

We had a few days in Singapore on one of our trips to KL. It was much hotter and humid than KL but a good excuse for stopping for Happy Hour along the river. I did succumb to a Singapore Sling at Raffles, ridiculous price but it may be the only time!

£8 for a pint of beer in Singapore was enough for me! We did enjoy visiting the hotel with the bridge aross the top though.
