Could someone out there have any plans for a “Fair-isle class trawler.
The hull that I have purchased is 37″ long with an 11” beam.

Have you tried the people who supply the half-kit [hull and plans]. Sirmar Models

The hull you describe I think I know as the Isle Class minesweeper with plans by  R J Barnes.  Sorry I don’t want to let the plans go* and anyway you describe it as a trawler which is a different configuration although likely built on the same hull during WWII 1944.

Possibly available from Jecobin,31 Roman’s Way, Pyrford, Woking surrey  GU22 8TR

I could well have my wires crossed with that address.

*One day I might build her properly instead my cocked-up scratch, which goes very well, beautiful hull but horrible superstructure by yours truely as various freinds have put it

I took one or two looks at the plans and chickened out at the detail required. But maybe when I learn more about modelling

The "Fair Isle" class trawlers were 77ft and built by the Berwick Shipyard in the late 1950’s / early 1960’s.

^Thats the website showing the history of the yard and if you contact them they might be able to help with plans or more detailed photographs.

There are a lot of photos of this class on the Shipspotting website ( you need to join the site and then opt-in to the Fishing Gallery ) and on the Trawlerphotos website
