Hi

 

Has anyone used the mini Cirrus 40 Mhz Rx, that cost about £10?

 

I bought one recently for a small model, it seems to work fine with the Tx but I noticed that the aerial is only about 1/2 the length of a Futaba 40Mhz Rx.

Only managed to test in the garden so far and it seems to work ok up to about 45 metres, then I ran out of garden.  Tried with the TX aerial 1/2 down and it worked to about 25 metres.

 

Anyone know what the full range would be?
