Have been retired here in the Ionian (Greece) for nearly three years now,  brought my one meter class  Nimbus here with me in the hopes that there would be a club or at least some like minded folk, unfortunataly there is not, my little racer is now just a static display, it would be nice to hear from anyone at home, particulary from the Poole area, certainly do miss it all even the weather.

Thanks Len, we know all about your abysmal weather over there in Blighty, we have an enormous satellite dish that picks up SKY TV that way we keep abreast of all the bad things that go on ie wall to wall rain, wind, snow, gales…. All about the rising prices and the total mess that the government seem to be in.
It’s the simple things in life that I miss, standing by the model boat lake on a Sunday morning watching the class A boats beating to windward, chatting to other owners about the latest sheet winch or rudder servo, oh well can’t have it all, yesterday it was 110 f we went to the beach swam in blue sea and the wife was happy, guess we have to make the odd sacrifice in life.
