Here are two alternatives, taken from the article. I've used both and they are fine. huntress wiring diagrams.jpg

The Fusion ESC is the 30A version, obtainable from Cornwall Model Boats. The motor comes from Hobbyking and the Lithimon 234 monitor from Dawnmist Studios, while the other equipment is all from Component Shop. I fitted a 1.4" dia x 1.5" pitch 3-blade bronze prop from Protean Design.

            Hi Tom

Check out Dave Milbourn's built and electrics on this site.

His is the kingpin on this boat as he design the kit.

We crossed in the post, Harry.

Just to make the point that Sarik did not seek my permission to market pre-cut parts for Huntress and I've not had the chance to check out the quality, so if their parts don't fit correctly then it's not down to the design. The plans are spot on.

Not double checking the parts and build before issuing the kit is a foolish thing to do, who holds the copyright?

I don't want to debate copyright in this Forum, Doc. Apart from the fact that it's MTM's own forum, copyright law is very, very complicated. We'll leave that particular worm safely in its can, shall we?
As for checking the parts and building a model from them I always do that, but the parts from Sarik haven't been made using my CAD files and therefore I can't speak for their accuracy.

Many thanks for your kind comments. There are many more Huntress photos here **LINK**

                        Tom,

You don't say where you are but there is a Huntress which was adapted for RN service on display in Portsmouth Dockyard No 4 Boathouse.

Dave reckons it is disfigured by the extra controls added by the Navy but it is still a real one!

It's on the plan and/or in the article. I buy my props from Protean Designs and my running gear from Model Boat Bits. PM me for any further info required.
