What thickness of skin shall we use?………..Might be worthwhile doing a broad strip plank on frame exercise?

The transom (drawing 11) is on a single A4 sheet that was in the last set that I emailed to you.

The skin is 1.5mm aircraft grade plywood or similar, an exercise in planking would be a good idea however the skin on Brutus has some tight curves that cant be achieved by planking but don't worry as we will do diagonal planking on the next build………can you guess what it will be?

No its not a barge and you have all of the Transom info (like I said this is a more difficult build)

The Barrel Back is very close to the SloMo hull, I was not enthused by the proposal

I could remove the SloMo top and make a Barrel Back top…..ish?

Paul, you could knock up a BB top for Ellie and a mod to the hull, to get the droopy look? I fancy a long veneered top anyway?

Sorry but altering Ellie to make a barrel back wouldn't work as the geometry of the two hulls is completely different.

Placing an advert in the magazine might be a good idea, I am just wary of pushing my luck too far as the magazine owners, My Time Media, run a business part of which involves selling model boat plans.
