i am trying to find out which magazine the model sailing boat LOUIS HELOISE was publshed.
i want to try and get back issues before i order the plans as the instructions were published over nov/dec 94 and jan/feb 95.
Jeffrey,
It was Marine Modelling International. One of the issues is available on Magazine Exchange. You might be able to track down the others on Ebay.

Hello Jeff
Got some useful info for you
I made the Louis Heloise model in 94 and I can post you a few photos of the build
It was a very nice model, big, bulky and handsome
I fitted a motor drive and prop, which is a handy feature at times
Bob

I am now at the paint stage of the Louis Heloise build. all primed with etch primer to hold onto epoxy resin. Now suggestions for paint, and where to get it…. regards Steve
Just got around to painting my hull, Norfolk green Toplac, this has been a long build, it looks really good.
second coat tomorrow, then I can start the finishing off.
next the deck, clear varnish, then the mast and bits, going to paint them white.
Steven
Will you post a few build photos, Steven?
Yes Bob I'll get around to that shortly, saying that I've been building it for around 4 – 5 years now.
toplac paint is expensive, but a great paint to use, now the hull is painted I'll finish off the deck and deck house then photo time.
This is the state of play with my boat…. getting there
I love these classics.
Big and chunky. I bet you need a hand to launch them.
Bri
Just finished the lead ballast. and fitted the steering servo. Now moving onto mast and bowsprit fittings…
If you have all the magazines, you will read that Andre hints that the ballast as shown on the plan was insufficient
I made a bolt on keel, it looks rather ugly, but did the trick
