Looking to build this kit next year and woud be intrested in knowing where and how much i can get the wooden deck for it .

Andy. Our man at the pond Iain has just finished a Trumpeter Missouri and it is a stonking build. It took him 8 months and the tiny parts you will not believe (ok, you might as you have a kit!). Is the supplied deck not good enough ?? …there would be endless drilling to do and it would have to be really really thin..

Andy, I googlrd Trumpeter Nelson wooden deck. I can see that model dockyard sell it. Others do as well. There is a youtube video showing the deck being stuck on, and other forum posts about the deck.

I have just googled the deck…my word…the detail on it and by the looks of things it just pops over the kit deck !! Amazing.

I can now see that for an absolutely top notch finish a wooden deck is a must.
