      Wanted any one out there build me a turret turning mechanism so i can turn the for’d gun on my large leander and then ,at last, it’s nearly ready for the water.I ask this as i have nether the skill or time to build one as securiy work is a cruel misstress and shoplifters dont take a day off.All expenses will be met as will postage .Many thanks Andy

          Use a servo, think of the turret as a rudder
          put a rod from the turret down thru the deck and connect
          bellow

            Hi Andy,
             
            Just a thought but as a refinement to Colins suggestion why not use the rudder servo to turn the turret as well?.  Obviously this would depend on where the rudder servo is fixed and may need a long linkage but it would mean you did not need a seperate servo and would also give a visual indication of the rudder position.
             
            I’m glad to hear your Leander is nearly ready for the water.  Did you manage to get hold of a Scout helicopter?
