Hi

Just wondering if anyone else is still waiting for their ‘free’ rotary kit for joining online in september! I joined on 16th September and have not yet recieved it. What am i going to give the wife for christmas if it doesn’t come HELP!!!!

Sounds good to me. Why not contact the subscription department and ask them about it? I’m almost sure they won’t read this. Perhaps they want me to supply them?

I understand from Chris Webb of the subs deparrtment, that as of yesterday 31/10/07, they have arrived and should be dispatched to be with those waiting subscribers in the next week or so.

I was told that several weeks ago now that it would be posted next week, and still nothing .emailed lorraine in subscriptions and have not heard back, guess i will actually have to break down and buy the missus a real gift

On the contents page of the Kit Special are the details of the subscriptions department. I suggest you email directly or telephone the contact listed there (Chris Webb), with your subscription details (and copy in customer services) with your complaint.

I’ve just spoken to Chris, and apparently all the tool kits were sent out 2nd class recorded a week and a half ago so everybody should have received their’s by now. If anyone hasn’t got it yet please email Chris at [email protected]

Hello Sam

I was going to write a jovial piece about getting a gift for resubscribing and having a playful and friendly swipe at Paul and Vinnie during what seems to be an open season for the editors, but then I thought again and removed what I had written.

When Paul took over the editors job he wanted to expand the content to include new items and by god he has done, this must have been a huge job to improve on an already great publication. The december issue is very very good and I for one am very pleased with what I pay in subscription I THINK IT IS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY and I dont see the point in bleating on about cheap free gifts, life is to short..

And Vinnie is doing a stirling job sorting out this site and putting up with all the moaning and complaints, Come on guys this site is free and Vinnine lets us say what we want. Where else could I or Sam or Kenny or any of us chat to each other about nothing in particular.

like I said life is to short.

Yes mine is on perscription and I actually got it on Thursday, delivered in a fully waterproof plastic bag but just like you walking all the way to Smiths I had to walk from my chair to the front door so there was some effort involved.

I fancy a decent lathe now that would be a good freebie…hint..hint..Paul

I dont fancy santas chances of getting a band saw down your flue though.

How is the golden slipping down tonight?
