Dave has a history of converting the Italieri kits so well worth reading his article if you have one.

How about getting hold of a set of castings for a marine engine and do a step by step article on machining and assembling them ? Blackgate’s V twin occilator would be ideal.

I wish Dave Wiggins would’nt put model aeroplane engine articles in the magazine !!  I thought it was called Model Boats 🙂

I don’t recall him covering steam in his articles ? but lots about obsolete radio systems from years ago 🙂

I’m sort of returning to the metal soon as I’ve built loads boats recently, the damn things are everywhere 🙂

The idea of an engine build is a good one but it would cost me a really big chunk of time and a considerable expense, neither of which would generate a return so I’d be well out of pocket.

Surprised that the editor didn’t co-ordinate this?

Anyway, you chaps are doing a sterling job with your articles, builds and free plans etc.

My December issue arrived yesterday and I’ve only skimmed it so far.
