Bill. Nothing wrong with these old set! I have three 27M transmitters, and 2/3 of my boats are on 27M.

I think sometimes people are too quick to throw their old gear away. If you have a boat big enough to carry the aerial and only need two channels, why not keep it on 27 or 40Meg? So many people are on 2.4Gig now that the worry about clashing frequencies is almost a thing of the past.
