                Hello Mark

it's very kind of you to offer your assistance…….Thank you very much indeed!

Launch day is still months into the future at the moment

I'm in no rush to complete, as I am building the model as a therapeutic exercise, to occupy my idle hours

I will feel completely lost and all at sea on completion!

Hoping to take Lady Joyce in the back of the car, to the Ellesmere Model Boat Show as a one day visit, with the assistance of Peter Teal…(Duckie)

Can't imagine finding room on the club stand and it would look extremely out of place anyway

It's a bit strange that we have never met each other at the club?

                Hope to rectify that,shortlly

                Regards…..Bob

                      Hello Paul

                      Are you coming home yet?

Pleased you like the sliding doors, just need to fit the brass wheels still

The rivet effect is the old card trick…..Always works!

We are both well at our end….How about you and yours?

                          Hello Bob,

Truly impressive, and very nice looking indeed! I really like the effect you acheived on the seats, and the sliding door, too, is looking absolutely the business!

A wee question, though: could a dog hanging around the forrard parts of a boat be referred to as a bow-wow?

Thank you for your positive comments……Alway's nice to read

Alas, the features are not up to your standard though…….I just do enough!

With the model being so large, there's plenty of scope for inventiveness!

Bob, you are truly doing justice to the Gentleman bit of this boat. All that wonderful varnished wood. Just fantastic.

Love the motors peeping through the doors.

Not keen on the light Blue cushions (the colour, that is) Something darker would be my choice but as usual just my personal opinion.

Could you button them, if the underside was foam…neprene for instance, would look classy.,

Some bulkhead lights (working) to light up cocktails after dark????

Chrome exhausts poking out the back?

DONT FORGET the drinks tray, and I am sure a small pile of cucumber sandwiches would be the icing on the cake.. Talking of cakes…..

Pleased you like the work in progress

The seat covers are the natural colour of the Solartex I had in stock……I was going to paint it a nice sexy green, but the Missus liked it…..As is!…….End of story

I tried padding the seats with kitchen roll, with the intention of adding buttons, but it didn't work out

I could exploit the artist's licence and create the illusion……Later

There's simply no end to the Bling possibilities

                                  Long sigh…..

Me thinks you are doing yourself a cross injustice, you get the drawing, it's you that puts your skills into the build, which you do. Look back at your passed builds, and the ones you are sure to be building in the future. Well that's that, now when are we going to see it with it's backside wet.winklaughlaugh

I do like the comments from true engineers!

It's a sad state of affairs, but we are a rare breed these days!

In the 50's…..We were as common as muck!

Once Lady Joyce gets wet…….The magic will have gone!…….And we don't want that, do we?

Why should the magic fade just because the boat gets wet? crying 2

Just think how much magic you will impart into other peoples lives when you show Lady Joyce at Haydock and besides (just like Dave says) there is always the next build.

                                                Hello Chaps

I may have used the wrong words there, by saying the Magic will fade once the model gets wet

I really mean the magic of creating the eye catching details, such as the pretty doors and dial box etc

Should the sailing side of things, be an anti climax, then interest in making the fine detail, would soon fade away

So the longer we delay the great launch, the more bling will have been added
