Hi. All have now fitted new sails and a sail arm servo to my Veronica TSB the peak of the sprit has been lifted by about 4" and is now 24" above the deck, the sails then had to be re-made using Dunelm's best poly cotton bed sheet in Terracotta and a lot lighter than the original sails.

I originally fitted a sail winch with a continuous line running through a tube around the stern under the deck, the sheets for the vangs and mainsail were then fastened to either side of this line and inline with it,but if the sails didn't pull the sheets out they would tangle and pull the line of the winch drum.
Sailing today she handled much better and was faster, at times keeping up with a Marblehead yacht, but wouldn't point into the wind as well, and she didn't heel as much.

Regards.
Eddie.
