Taycol Meteor motor

I’ve had this motor for some years and would now like to use it . Can anyone help with the wiring? The motor is still in original box but no instructions. Regards Trevor.

Hi Trevor

If you search for ‘taycol’ above on this site you will get at least 4 threads where the problems etc of useing these vintage motors are discussed.  There are several variants of Taycol motor with slightly different wireing, and mainly due to the ‘wound field’, non of them like modern electronic speed control
